The land tour leaves from Castle Comfort
Lodge with a drive through the Botanical
Gardens, through the Roseau
Valley to the tiny village of Laudat;
gorgeous mountain ranges, cocoa plantation
ruins, local roadside orchids growing wild,
including brilliantly colored bromeliads,
giant size ferns, and greenery in abundance
to both the Freshwater Lake
and Titou Gorge.
Titou Gorge is a must see,
whether or not on our special Dive Adventure
Dominica package!!! Visitors take a short
hike to the icy cold river, where warm water
streams mingle with the gushing fresh river
water, leaving no evidence of its warmth.
Swim up the river through a huge water dug-out
crevice into a mountain to inhale the cool
air gushes created by the pounding waterfall.
[Firm walking shoes, bathing suit and a
desire for adventure are required!]

The Whale and Dolphin Tour is
