Aaron Carbon
Aaron is a native of Dominica has been with Dive
Dominica since 1993. He is a very experienced instructor
and his knowledge of our dive sites and marine life
is exceptional.
Paul Crask
Paul is from England, now resident in Dominica.
Paul's professional training was at Pro Dive USA
and Dive Asia with PADI award winning Course Director
Bjorn Täckmann.

PADI Open Water Diver
& Junior Open Water Diver (4 days)
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most widely
recognised and respected rating in the world. It
provides you with an understanding of the fundamentals
of scuba diving, including dive equipment and underwater
techniques. You complete five confined water dives,
five knowledge development modules, a water skills
test and four open water dives. Certification allows
you to dive anywhere in the world with a buddy independent
of a professional. The program is performance based
and usually takes between 3½ to 4 days, including
independent study.

PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver & Junior Advanced Open Water
Diver (2 days)
The Adventures in Diving program offers both the
Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.
If you complete any three adventure dives, you can
earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If
you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater
Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives
for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced
Open Water Diver certification.

PADI Rescue Diver &
Junior Rescue Diver (3 days)
This rewarding course will expand your knowledge
and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look
beyond themselves and consider the safety and well
being of other divers. Although the content of the
course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build
your confidence.
To participate in the rescue training sessions
in open water, and to participate in the open water
rescue scenarios, you must be certified as a PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver. The minimum age is 15
years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver) and
you must have successfully completed a sanctioned
CPR program within the past 24 months. The Emergency
First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary
Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements.

PADI Divemaster (8
days)
This course is the first step in your dive career.
You will expand your dive knowledge and hone your
skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster
training develops your leadership abilities by training
you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors
with student divers.
Course entry requirements are: PADI Advanced Open
Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver certification, successful
completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the
past 24 months (e.g. EFR), medical clearance signed
by a physician, 20 logged dives and be a minimum
of 18 years old.

PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Speciality (½ day)
Enriched Air diving allows you to stay underwater
longer and get back into the water sooner. It is
also said that Nitrox may make you feel a little
less tired after diving because of the higher oxygen
content. To take the short course all you need is
your open water diver certification.
The course price also includes two Nitrox dives.

Project AWARE Coral Reef
Conservation Speciality (½ day)
This course teaches divers and non divers about
the vital role coral reefs play in the marine environment.

Emergency First Response (½
day)
Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing
international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator
(AED) and First Aid training organization. Many
divers take the Emergency First Response courses
to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue
Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster.
However, most have also found the EFR program to
be important in every day life. They have taken
a significant step in emergency preparedness, and
feel confident that they can provide care should
an emergency situation arise.
No dive certification is required and there is
no minimum age limit.

DAN Oxygen Provider (½

This course represents entry level training designed
to educate the general diving public to better recognise
possible dive related injuries and to provide emergency
oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency
medical services. Anyone may take this course.

Professional Development
Course (10 days)
This course is intended for those aiming for a
career in the dive industry. Participants must at
least 18 years old, be Advanced Open Water Divers,
